Location: ACT (Canberra-based office)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ICT Security Specialist to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team supporting government ICT security operations. This role focuses on developing and sustaining security solutions for a critical cyber environment, providing ICT risk management expertise, policy creation, and project assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
# Develop and sustain ICT risk management solutions and artefacts in line with security policies and requirements.
# Identify, analyze, evaluate, and monitor ICT risks within the security environment.
# Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigations.
# Conduct ICT security risk assessments, making recommendations to support security policies and architecture.
# Translate high-level business requirements into actionable risk mitigation solutions.
# Communicate complex issues to various stakeholders, including senior executives.
# Contribute to team development and share ICT security best practices.
Key Essential Criteria:
# Strong qualifications and experience in Risk Management principles and ICT Security Risk Assessments.
# Experience in working with stakeholders to identify and mitigate ICT risks.
# Knowledge of ICT Security Principles, including the Information Security Manual and Essential 8.
# Proven ability to document ICT Risk Management processes and develop risk management artifacts.
