Araza was engaged by a large Gaming and Entertainment business to implement a new framework to control cloud costs as part of their new FinOps program.
Araza’s delivery included a FinOps Governance Framework and the governance controls and processes required to uplift our client’s capability to support and complement the supply and running of AWS Environments.
Araza followed a process to documented the current state of our client’s environment and to then identify any gaps between that and the industry best practices. Araza then documented the Governance and Control Framework for the use of AWS IaaS Cloud and drove a FinOps culture within the business. The outcome of this work was an initial 35% saving due to right sizing, deleting unused servers and start/stopping services using Cost Optimisation Software. Araza then implemented our Araza FinOps framework where, together with the client, we identified “Actionable Savings” opportunities of an additional 24%.
